The way I get around the exercise blues is I think of something that i want to do, like have a nice bath or watch a good program ect, so before I can have my reward I do my exercises and before you know it your done

I take the stairs at work instead of the elevator it was hard at first as I am on the fourteenth floor, I also go out for lunch instead of the delivery of subs this way I can avoid the bread that I know puts the pounds on for me.

A great reward for yourself can be a massage at the end of the week or even a little prize like a new nail polish. . .I know sounds simple but it is much better to have these rewards than it is to have a slice of cake! And going out to lunch can just be an even better opportunity to incorporate a bit more exercise into your day, especially if you walk somewhere.

Don't you just feel great for those little things. Just sitting giving myself a pedicure is as magnificent as a wekk at the spa at this point in my life. Simple. Enjoy everything. Be appreciative of what you've got.

I've got this, this exercise blues thing, maybe I caught it from someone at the gym! Next year I'll get the shot.
No, really, it's sooo hard to get out of these blues, it always starts for me when i need to skip the gym a few days, for whatever reason. It is never the same getting back in to my routine and I get a little depressed.
I like the idea of rewarding yourself with a treat. I'll try that.
