Have you ever looked around you when you are in a restaurant, look at the thin people and watch how they eat, they eat slowly, this way they know when they are full and stop eating.

Hannah you stop when you are full, bloated is to late you have got work out some kind of control with your diet and eating all that chocolate is not going to work, it sound that you are comfort eating rather than eating when you are hungry, if you find out why you are doing this then that would help a lot.
Good luck.

Is it true it takes the brain a while to realize when we are full?? I was always told to eat slow so your brain can catch up. 20-25 minutes I think. This would make since for those slow skinny eaters. They stop when they are full.

I have even heard that you are supposed to stop when you are satisfied- just not hungry anymore. Not to eat until you are full- by then you have overeaten.

True but when things taste good I have a tendency to really inhale the food and I know this is bad. I do think we all need to alow down a little and give our minds time to catch up with the stomach and realize that we are no longer hungry but there are many of us who have a hard time with this.
