I have taken up swimming and taken out time for just ten minutes a day, I am slowly increasing my laps day by day, I feel so much better and it is so refreshing, I feel as though I am getting a full workout, this is for me.

As an older guy you look at things differently, I just thought that swimming was just for kids, but as you are getting in shape by swimming I have now given it some thought, so I to will be taking up swimming.

Swimming can help you. Kicking workouts, water aerobics, pool running, or a regular swimming workout can all give you a great exercise session without the weight of your body pounding you with each move.
So if you have an injury this is a great alternative.

I've always heard that swimming was a total body exercise. I just signed up water aerobics at the ymca down the street. I'm looking forward to it even more now.

I've been swimming at my gym for a few years now. It is so much better on my old joints. My doctor recommended it to me after my shoulder surgery and I have loved it ever since.
