Hey there, I have recently started a new diet, without changing my exercise schedule. While I am losing weight I am also more tired and more sore for the effort. Is this due to a deficiency in protein or carbs? Is this normal?
Thanks for any help

Keep at it. Your energy level is sure to rise soon. I found I needed to increase my calories the more I exercise. It will get better.

My energy level is thru the roof !! I always heard exercise will increase your mood and energy but wow, it 's really true. I wake up refreshed and ready to hit the gym. I crave it now.... keep at it. it will come.

That is so true about exercise. I can be having the worst day ever but when my husband gets home and I finally get a chance to workout it makes me feel 100 times better. I do not know if it is the adrenakine or what exactly happens, but headaches go away and I just get a renewed sense of energy. Everyone needs to experience this to know just how great exercise can make you feel. If everyone did we would all be a lot healthier because people would want to exercise more!

I think that the muscle sore ness is attributed to a build up of lactic acid in the muscles but should brek down as you continue to workout. Sounds a little indulgent but massage is probably good for this too.

I think that ultimately to be a success with weight loss you have to incorporate a bit of exercise daily- there is just no better way to maintain what you are doing than exercise daily.
