You should drink 1/2 ounce of water for every pound you weigh every day, and add 8 ounces for every hour of exercise. Anyone know if this is true?

there are varying recommendations and no one size fits all formula to figure it out. like caloric in-take and exercise, it really depends on your body. you don't need to rely on solely drinking water to meet those needs, it's in most of the fruits and veggies you eat as well. just make sure you're getting enough water to avoid any signs of dehydration and you should be good to go! if you want an expert opinion fit for your body specifically, it's best to see your doctor.

If you are not thirsty then don’t drink, we have enough fluids in our body, I hear of people drinking water because it makes them feel full, my trainer once told me unless you are going on a marathon your body will just retain it and that can lead to other problems.
