This time of year is the hardest for me. Cold weather keeps me indoors and desire to exercise is not there. I've heart light therapy can help with this type of depression. Anyone have luck with this? What can I do?

i know they are controversial but i like the tanning bed this time of year. I've had seasonal depression before and found being outside helps. Even if it is cold outside, on a sunny day bundle up and go out. Sit with the sun in your face and meditate. It"s great.

Getting in the sun always makes me feel ggod and light in general is a great way to lift your spirits. I finally bought a treadmeill so that I do not feel like I have to exercise in the cold, although it is sometimes just a very invigorating feeling to go out and run when it is a bit nippy. But I am like you- ready for summer, just not the legs!
