what is the best way to get in extra fiber? I don't eat may high fiber foods so i'm looking at supplements. can you really not taste the fiber powder you sprinkle on food? how much a day should I start out with?

I think that women need to have 25 grams of fiber per day; for men it is 35. I do not recommend introducing this all in one day if you are not accustomed to eating that much because your tummy will be hurting bad! Fruits and veggies are great for fiber as are whole wheat breads and grains. Oatmeal is another great fiber option for you.

wow that sounds like a lot, especially considering that there are some days that I wonder if I had even 10 grams. I know that is bad. I wonder how quickly you can introduce this 25 grams? Are supplements just as good for you as getting it through food?
