After I had my daughter my gift to myself was to get braces. Yes I was almost thirty but I was tired of having crooked teeth! So I went the traditional route and had braces for a year and my teeth are straighter than ever. Have the rest of you ever considered this option?

had braces as a teenager for 2 1/2 years. it was very painful and i can't imagine voluntarily doing it now. your are brave and i think it's great. do whatever makes you feel great !!

did you have the traditional metal braces? I have thought about maybe doing the Invisalign because I guess I would just be embarassed at my age to get the real braces like kids get. Was there a big cost difference between these two options?
