I have done pretty much every diet in the world and have finally found that Weight Watchers along with exercise is what has worked the best for me. However I would love to hear about some other success stories that fellow forum members have had with other plans such as Atkins or South Beach, or even just good old calorie watching.

I like Weight Watchers but once you do it for a while you find yourself assigning points to everything that you put in your mouth and that can get slightly annoying. I can't do the low carb diets- just keeping an eye on what I eat and how many calories I consume works best for me and my lifestyle.

I try not to say that I am on a diet, just a course to change my entire lifestyle.

Well I have done just about everything out there and what works best for me is just to keep a log of what I eat, calories and fat grams etc. I try to really stay on top of that info and that helps me with what I can eat that day etc. I just always try to eat a little healthier than the day before!

has anyone tried anything like Nutri System? I have a colleague who has lost a ton of weight with this meal delivery system but it seems awfully expensive. I just want to know how others have done with it.

I just started with Bistro MD. Have been on it 10 days. The meals are absolutely scrumptious. Gourmet! Balanced plan and have dieticians to assist you as well. Perfect for the worker who is always on the run or the single person not wanting to prepare dishes for just one.:) For those who are on insulin and cardiac drugs, read Ron Rosedale's diet. A very different approach, like this is. Very hopeful to get off of BP meds and insulin in a very short time.:):)
