I admit I am addicted to diet sodas like Diet Coke and Diet Mountain Dew. These have to be better than the real thing, right? How many of these are the maximum that I should be consuming in one day?

I personally think they taste nasty! I also worry about the long-term affects of the new artificial sweetners. Sacharrin I can handle (it's been around so long) though I rarely use it. Too artificial and man-made. Give me good old sugar in very small amounts of course!

No, but I don;t think any carbonated soft drinks are okay. It's not that I'm an anti-cola freak, but they are too acidic, too sugary, and way to caloric. YUK! Bad for your teeth too.

Have you ever seen the mouth of a person addicted to colas. YUCK! Carbonated soft drinks do a number on your stomach and esophagus as well. I can't see them in a healthy regime at all.
