So many women that I know are very concerned with getting breast cancer but few of them worry about hear disease, yet I understand this is a leading killer of women. Why do you think so many of us are fixated on cancer and not the real number one killer? Is it just because breast cancer receives so much publicity?

Yeah I think it is because the breast cancer awareness program is so much stronger than that of heart disease but I think that the proponents of testing for heart disease in women are doing better lately at getting the message out. It is just so hard to break that stereotype that this only affects men- women need to know that it can affect them too!
