ever watch shows like 'what not to wear' and see yourself in the before shots. i do. sometimes they don't look half bad to me. i've decided with my new 12 minute makeover body i'm going to invest in some updated additions to my wardrobe. a little at a time, i don't have the 5 grand visa card...
NO more "mom jeans" !!!

No 5000 gift card? That would be the best part of goibg on What Not To Wear for me too!:) I find that Target has some really good options for updating your wardrobe without losing a fortune in the process. So it may not all be NY style or high fashion but they have pieces that are versatile and take me out of my 80s haze!

What's so wrong with the 80's? Maybe the style will come back. I'm hanging on to my stirrup pants, acid washed jeans, flourescent sweatshirt, shoulder pads, and I'm thinking of breaking out the curling iron to see how high I can get my bangs !!

TOO FUNNY! My mom-in-law visited a couple of weeks ago and asked to borrow my curling iron. I'm proud to say I've never owned one! Yes, I was in high school and college in the 80s too.
