Ever heard of the fraxel laser? It is a new laser which helps improve skin from the inside out, so there is not a ot of burning or scabbing of the skin. Would you ever do anything like this to improve the appearance of your skin and wrinkles?

right now i'd have to say i'm sick of cosmetic surgery, botox, peals, all that. hollywood is creating a disturbed vision of what a beautiful woman is. i fear the things my small daughter will think of herself as she becomes a young woman. once you do one procedure, i'd imagine it is easy to add more and more down the road. when do you quit?

I hear you! I am sick of this falsified notion of what we all have to look like in order to be considered attractive by others! Let's all just get healthy and learn to love ourselves for who we are! The fraxel may be great but not for fixing what is really wrong when we subject ourselves to these sorts of things.

I've never heard of this. SOunds kind of funny though. What exactly is this procedure?

It is a laser which penetrates deep enough to repair and tighten the skin on the outside so you don;t go around looking like a scabbed ripe tomato for days the way you do with other laser procedures. Supposed to be very effective but expensive! I think I am a little too scared of having all of that heat on my face in order to do that though!
