i know i need fiber. i've tried to increase my intake but why? what is it the fiber is doing? where can i get more natural fiber rather than the supplements and powders?

a diet high in fiber will decrease your risk of cardiovascular disease. I get fiber in many places. grains, nuts, bran, oats, citrus, many veggies. Fiber keeps our digestive system healthy.

And fiber is so much more filling than so many of the empty calories we consume. Women need about 25 grams of fiber per day. Have you tries the new Fiber One Oats and Chocolate bars? They are yummy and have about 9 grams of fiber in one bar! These are a great pick me up any time of the day!
