exercising while pregnant

I have a friend who just found out she is pregnant and she is an avid exerciser. Will she have to modify her exercise while pregnant? How long can she exercise and until what point in her pregnancy?

I think that every pregnancy situation will differ. . . she should definitely check with her ob-gyn. I pretty much worked out throughout my entire pregnanncy and felt really good but some women are not so lucky in that respect.
